[Case Study] Streamlining Purchasing Operations Significantly Reduces the Number of Purchasing Staff <Trading Company>
A case that achieved the efficiency of purchasing operations and cost reduction while also contributing to SDGs compliance!
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Benri Net," which we handle, at Solekia Corporation. The company had been using an inefficient method for many years, purchasing from different suppliers for each department and having local staff handle expense accounting, invoice reconciliation, and payments. After the implementation, by consolidating necessary quantities and placing bulk orders, they achieved both inventory reduction and cost savings. The number of purchasing staff was reduced from 16 to just 2, eliminating redundant tasks. [Challenges] - Purchases were made in a decentralized manner across various locations, involving 32 suppliers and 16 purchasing staff. - An inefficient method had been in place for many years. *Details of the case study can be viewed through the related link.
